🎶 Free Live Music Returns to Birdies 🎶
We’re so excited to kick off our first free live music night of the year on Friday 3rd April and we’re starting the season with a fantastic band.
The music starts at 7pm.
Our main act for the evening is Lost Post, supported by another act still to be announced, so expect a full evening of brilliant live music.
About the band
Lost Post draw on the rich storytelling traditions of both old time American and traditional English music, blending them into a unique sound that moves between foot stomping country, swampy blues and delicate folk.
The band have been building a strong following over the past year, playing relentlessly across the festival circuit including Boomtown Fair and Wickham Festival, and supporting acts such as Emily Nenni, Skinny Lister, 3 Daft Monkeys and Nick Parker. Their debut single Charlotte received airplay and an interview on BBC Radio Solent, while their EP Hope (and All Its Promise) was featured on BBC Introducing. In September 2025 they released their first full length album, All We’ll Leave Is Dust, produced by Lou Sawdy at The Ranch Production House.
Food and drink
Both our indoor and outdoor bars will be open, our stone baked pizza trailer will be fired up, and our wonderful friends from Sprinkle of Saffron will be here serving their always delicious food.
The music takes place outside under our stretch tent. Blankets and heaters will be available, but please remember it’s an outdoor event so do dress for the weather.
Entry is completely free, so come along, grab some food and drinks, and settle in for a great evening of live music.
We are unable to take table bookings for our free live music events.
Please note: Birdies is a licensed premises and outside food or drink is not permitted.
We can’t wait to get the live music season started again. See you there!
