Award winning singer, musician and songwriter Vic Cracknell returns to Birdies with some of his musical friends for a special night of live music. Vic helped launch live music at Birdies a few years ago, so we’re delighted to welcome him back.

Expect classic sing along favourites on piano and guitar alongside some of Vic’s own original songs, with guest performers joining throughout the evening.

🎶 Free Live Music Returns to Birdies‍ ‍- LOST POST 🎶

We are so excited to kick off our first free live music night of the year at Birdies on Friday 3rd April and it’s going to be a brilliant one.

The music starts at 7pm.

Our main act for the evening is Lost Post, bringing their fantastic live sound to Birdies to get the 2026 season started properly. They’ll also be joined by a support act, to be announced soon, so expect a full evening of great live music.

Both our indoor and outdoor bars will be open, our stone baked pizza trailer will be fired up, and our wonderful friends from Sprinkle of Saffron will be here serving their delicious food too.

Music takes place outside, with seating under our stretch tent. Blankets and heaters will be available, but please remember it is an outdoor event so do dress for the weather.

Join us for a relaxed and intimate evening of European jazz, led by vocalist Anna Stewart and featuring exceptional musicians.


Anna is a versatile jazz singer with a classical background, known for her warm, expressive voice and her love of music that is both interesting and beautiful. Her performances often draw on French and Spanish repertoire, with improvisation and scatting at the heart of her jazz style.


She is joined by Volodymyr Vasylenko, one of only a small number of Ukrainian musicians specialising in jazz accordion. His playing brings a rare and expressive sound to the ensemble, combining technical brilliance with deep musical sensitivity.


Completing the trio is Martin Pyne, a composer and improviser whose work spans jazz, free improvisation and contemporary dance. Martin will be on percussion but is also known for vibraphone and drums, bringing texture, subtlety and rhythmic depth to the music.


Expect lyrical vocals, expressive musicianship and a warm, atmospheric night of jazz, perfect for settling in with great food and drinks.

We’re welcoming back Joolz Does Comedy to Birdies for a brilliant night of live stand up comedy indoors. The night is organised and hosted by Joolz, who will be your MC throughout the evening. Headlined by Patrick Monahan, an Edinburgh Fringe favourite known for his warm, crowd loving comedy and big laughs.
